Steeped in Memories: It’s Time to Say Goodbye to Teapots & Treasures Café in Juno Beach
After more than two decades serving up a proper teatime in Juno Beach, Florida, Teapots & Treasures Café has announced it will close its doors on September 11. It wasn’t just a place in a plaza to have lunch. From my understanding, it’s basically an institution in town. It’s where so many local families celebrated birthdays, loved ones hosted baby and bridal showers, moms and daughters spent the afternoon together and friends caught up over homemade goodies and a pot of tea.

As far as I know, it’s the only traditional tea room in Juno Beach and one of just a few in Northern Palm Beach County.
It’s one of those places that makes you smile when you walk through the front door. Then, it feels like such a treat when you sit down to the beautiful porcelain dishes and drop a cloth napkin in your lap. I recommend selecting the afternoon tea service, a traditional tiered service featuring decadent tea sandwiches, homemade scones and petite desserts. If you opt for “The Elizabeth,” you also receive a cup of their cozy, warming soup.
I personally discovered it when my mother-in-law and I spent a full Saturday searching for a place to have my baby shower. We started our day here, mapping out the rest of our day over delicious tea sandwiches and savory, creamy tomato soup. We enjoyed our experience so much that despite touring what felt like every other event venue in Northern Palm Beach County, we settled on that tea room.
It was the perfect choice. I enjoyed the event immensely, I felt so loved and Teapots & Treasures Café was the perfect setting. If you can, please try their purple Butterfly Tea for me.

According to the owner, rising costs and lease challenges led to their difficult decision to close. This is an important reminder that the local businesses we love need our support while they’re here.
If Teapots & Treasures Café has been on your list, or if you have memories there, now is the time to visit one last time. Take your mom, meet a friend, celebrate a birthday. Introduce your daughter or granddaughter to afternoon tea.
Thank you, Teapots & Treasures, for more than two decades of memories, cups of tea and for bringing charm and so many beloved memories to Juno Beach. You’ll be missed.
